ABOUT
Since a young age I have been active in songwriting and tried, through self-reflection, my voice and my lyrics, to invite audiences to ask themselves and others more questions about social and interpersonal relationships. However, through my studies at a German university specialised on pop music, I had to realize that I do not want to use music to make profit but rather create artworks to contribute to political change.
As an Afro-German, non-binary person I am convinced that it is precisely at this moment that a union of the working class, regardless of origin, must take place in order to counter the consequences of capitalism. Therefore, I would like to invite audiences to rethink structures together.
Over time I have recognised that my artistic freedom lies in allowing myself to work interdisciplinary and explore different forms of artistic expression ranging from composition, acting, writing, drawing and painting, and performance.
